The plan is to have a number of outings throughout the spring starting at the beginning of March with an aim of every 14 days. Those who attend each time can gradually get to know the bird species as they arrive, from resident birds and the first migrants to the early summer bird concert, but you are just as warmly welcome to come once in a while.

The intended location is the Skärva area. Time is something we agree on from time to time. How early do we want to get up in the morning, should we switch to evenings later? It costs nothing, but you are very welcome to make a contribution to the care of the Skärva area. There is extremely little money in the state/county board's nature conservation budget this year, so instead of competing for the few funds that are available to manage the nature reserves in Blekinge, we want to try to create local funding for Skärva... We also have a substantial project underway with the intention of creating more biodiversity and life through the construction of a larger wetland, a stream and a couple of ponds, plus design of the surrounding landscape.
