Permaculture design course – inställd! Framflyttad till nästa år
3 July, 2016 - 16 July, 2016
Nurture your soil
“The philosophy behind permaculture is one of working with, rather than against, nature; of protracted and thoughtful observation rather than protracted and thoughtless action; of looking at systems in their functions, rather than asking only one yield of them; and of allowing systems to demonstrate their own evolutions.” Bill Mollison 1988
The 72 hour PDC at the Skärva near Karlskrona follows the curriculum as laid out in Bill Mollison’s Permaculture – A Designer’s Manual. It covers subjects ranging from ethics and principles of permaculture, natural systems, aquaculture, sustainable design methods, patterns in nature, land restoration, water harvesting, grey water recycling, natural building, food forests and guilds, energy conservation, appropriate technology, renewable energy, urban permaculture and invisible structures.
The design course teaches how to develop sustainable human settlements, and how to extend and preserve natural systems. The content will be covered alternates between theoretical lectures and practical applications. The teaching style aims to run immersion courses that utilize the collective intelligence of the group with engaging participatory classes.
As a participant, you will receive a Permaculture Design Certificate
We wish you a transformative journey!
About the location:
The course will take place in Skärva in the south of Sweden, Blekinge – also known as the garden of Sweden. Skärva Gård is one of the most established ecological centres and is positioned uniquely in a natural reserve just a few hundred meters from the ocean. Beautiful bathing places are framed by a wonderful flora and the garden is carefully attended to. There is also an ecological store with vegan food and an art studio. You can bathe in the ocean or visit Karlskrona, which is the closest city. You will also find a rich cultural life and some museums.
