"Biological Diversity Day"
Have you heard of the International Day for Biological Diversity? We didn't have it, but read on natursidan.se and were inspired to do something about it at Skärva (actually it's 22/5, but we choose to do it on Sunday so that more people can join). Poul Dyrholm Och Dennis Persson har visat sina svartvita bilder i affischformat en gång tidigare i Klint, Danmark. Nu utökar de antalet bilder och delar sin inspiration för Martinus esoteriska världsbild. Poul målar visionära symboliska bilder med akryl på duk och Dennis tecknar bilder inspirerade av Art Nouveau och 60-talets Flower Power-affischer, med bläck på papper. In Caféet på Skärva, from June 25 to August 5, an exhibition with about 20 fine-tuned watercolors and some oil paintings by the Dutch artist Patricia Walter is taking place. The works have come into the possession of the association Human Service and they now want to sell them to raise funds to use in their business (read more about the association below). Skaparkollo (här är flyer) Är ditt barn intresserat av kreativt skapande? I sommar anordnar vi dagkollo för barn och ungdomar mellan 7 och 17 år . Varje dag presenteras en aktivitet inom slöjd, bild eller form, med möjlighet för deltagarna att fördjupa sig utifrån intresse. Do painful experiences have meaning? We sit around some sculptures by Anne-Marie Gunnarsdotter at Kulturloftet and talk. There are many perspectives on suffering, social processes that create suffering, people fleeing war and terror, natural disasters, mental and physical pain, our rough treatment of animals and nature, etc. Could there be a developmental thought behind all the degradation we see and experience?
