Forest gardens and edible perennials

28 October, 2020 18:00 - 20:00

60sec

Do you dream of a showy garden with healthy vegetables and goodies from early spring to late autumn? A garden that is also good for the planet and that becomes more fertile and beautiful every year? Then this is a talk for you! Lecturer Annevi Sjöberg is one of the authors of the books "Perennial vegetables - discover, grow, enjoy", and "Forest garden - grow edibles everywhere", which was the gardening book of the year 2018. With beautiful pictures and personal stories, she opens the door to the world of the forest garden. It is a form of cultivation and gardening where, with inspiration from nature's groves and forest edges, a large variety of edibles are grown in the form of fruit trees, nut trees, berry bushes, climbing plants and herbaceous perennials, while storing carbon dioxide and creating habitats for bumblebees, bees and other wild friends.
